American
Seed Trade Association
http://www.amseed.com
To
keep updates of the site quick and cost-effective, a Site Manager
is set up for areas with information that changes often. This
is a remote administrative section through which the client can
make edits without the knowledge of HTML. To name a few, this
includes such areas as the following:
Additions
to the site are not limited to American Seed; this capability
is also provided to its members. By using forms in the Members
Only section, members have the ability to post classified
ads as well as their Web
site. All entries are automatically passed through administration
for approval before live posting. Through the Members Only section,
members can also update their own records.
American
Seed is a very active organization and participates in a number
of events throughout the year. Three different event listings,
each also available in calendar view, are available
on the site. Only the
general and Legislative
calendars are available to the public, however. Once members
log in, they are then able to select the International Programs
calendar as well. Much in the same way, login expands the search
capabilities to include information within the Members Only section
from anywhere in the site.
Among
these events are various expos and conferences. Registration
forms dynamically calculate fees and provide online payment
through credit card. For some conferences, select portions of
the registrants information is made available through a
fully searchable attendee list.

Similar
to the American Seed Web site, updates to the News
areas of this site are performed by the client through a site
manager. In this case, however, due to the extensive lists, information
is provided through drop-down menus.

As
a site assisting residential buyers and sellers, this homebuyserinfo.com
is equipped with automatically updated
interest rates which are fed into the site from an outside
service.
CSPP
Readiness Guide
http://cspp.org/projects/readiness/
Although
we at Boldface did not design this site, we did do the programming
behind its Assessment Quiz. Through this, visitors can assess
their communitys readiness for Global Electronic Commerce
by answering a series
of 23 questions. Upon completion, results are provided based
on their answers.
CSPP
Members Only
http://www.cspp.org/
Just
like the Readiness Guide, we did not design CSPPs main Web
site but rather did the programming for its Members Only section.
Through this area, members have access to a calendar, message
board, directory, and document transferring capabilities. A Site
Manager is set up for the calendar and directory to ensure up-to-date
information.
