Nathan Johnson, Web Developer / Programmer / Data Nerd

With a background in mathematical meteorology, Nathan has been working with large data sets and statistics since graduate school. His programming background started when he was 10 with BASIC, and progressed to C, C++, C#, javascript and most recently, PHP. He’s also fluent with HTML and CSS. As a hobby, he wrote a WordPress plugin that tracks snowfall predictions in Colorado from 5 different forecasters; it also does some statistics on the data to verify and validate the predictions.

Nathan started doing development work with Boldface when he moved to Colorado in 2013. He likes snowboarding, climbing and biking, but he loves a really great stout.

Cristina Twigg “Twigg”, Senior Copywriter / Trilingual Wanderluster / Beertender Supreme

Daughter of a Brazilian Diplomat, born in DC, and having called 7 different countries home, Cristina Twigg (call her Twigg, please) is a copywriter who can generate results. It was her ability to manipulate words that got her noticed during her days as a Junior Copywriter. She’s been at it ever since working her way up to Senior Copywriter, articulating the needs of clients in a range of industries including new tech, media, pharmaceuticals, and food & beverage.

Now, with over 7 years of copywriting experience under her belt, she’s written websites, launched new campaigns, built social media presence from nothing, written web/phone applications, and pitched TV commercial ideas (one deemed too “risky” by Pharmaceutical executives). She’s also written her fair share of blogs, newsletters, and highly-technical video scripts.

Twigg’s an independent worker with excellent communication skills, who’s always eager to take on a new challenge. Pair that with a powerful imagination and an ability to foster camaraderie and team-love in the workplace, and you’ve got yourself a copywriter you can count on.

To avoid being an isolated writer in the attic, Twigg keeps herself sane and social by pouring pints of Colorado’s finest beers a couple of nights a week. On other nights, she keeps herself sane by drinking some of those beers, playing countless board games, and hosting movie nights in her unfinished-basement-projector-room.
